The city of Xanxerê, in Santa Catarina, is home to the Corn Museum. It is located inside the Rovilho Bortoluzzi Exhibition Park, which holds the well-known State Corn Festival (FEMI), which takes place every two years.
Rich in regional artifacts and linked to the cultivation of corn, the museum rescues the cultural and historical side of the cereal cultivation, and is installed in a building that reproduces an environment from the colonization period place.
With a total area of 218 square meters, the house is decorated with photos, objects and documents that give an idea of what the daily life of the settlers was like, from leisure to agricultural work. There are about 300 pieces collected in the community.
