We live at a fast pace, running out of time. We forgot one detail: the secret to getting along better with people, stimulating creativity and sticking to the agenda may be, precisely, to slow down. That's right! Hanging around can be more productive than you think.
To Domenico de Masi, author of the book Creative Leisure, wasting time, doing absolutely nothing, can be positive. Backed by neuroscience discoveries and observations about the art world, he claims that the brain, when not busy with tasks continues to work on a kind of “autopilot”, necessary to process the emotions and information that we received.
