Read the story:
Don Diego de la Vega lived a quiet life on the prosperous farm of his father, Don Alejandro de la Vega.
His employee, Bernardo, witnessed an injustice. As he was mute, he narrated the case with grand gestures.
In a second, Dom Diego had turned into Zorro, the masked vigilante. And he set off at a gallop, cutting through the night with his black horse.
In town, Zorro challenged the cruel Sergeant Garcia to a duel. Agile as an acrobat, Zorro leapt with his sword and pursued the sergeant. But the sergeant's soldiers arrived, and Zorro had to flee. Then he left his mark on the evil man's chest: a "Z" for Zorro.
The provincial governor put a prize on Zorro's head. But, he was the defender of the weak and downtrodden, and nobody wanted to denounce him.
And Zorro continued his fights in secret.
