Fox Samson was hovering around the place, but he didn't dare approach him because he knew the dogs would bark, and the owner would throw him out. However, he was hungry. Passing near the great oak, the owl Duchess called to him.
– Samson! Take care of my nest, and I'll get you something. But beware: No trickery!
The fox climbed from branch to branch until it reached the Duchess's nest. Seeing the owl cubs sleeping, Samson hesitated. He brought a paw in, then backed away.
