NAME:

the fox and the owl

Fox Samson was hovering around the place, but he didn't dare approach him because he knew the dogs would bark, and the owner would throw him out. However, he was hungry. Passing near the great oak, the owl Duchess called to him.
– Samson! Take care of my nest, and I'll get you something. But beware: No trickery!
The fox climbed from branch to branch until it reached the Duchess's nest. Seeing the owl cubs sleeping, Samson hesitated. He brought a paw in, then backed away.

Duchess returned with the ration and observed Samson:
– I was right to trust you! But you foxes are dangerous. Just in case, I don't want to see you surrendering my nest.
- Promise! - Said Samson, trying the ration.
Samson was a little afraid of Duchess, but he didn't fear the chickens. He would soon return to the farm. So far the ration had quenched his hunger.
