Win the War on Obesity

For some time now, drying measures has ceased to be a purely aesthetic issue. Since science began to link obesity to hypertension, high cholesterol and diabetes, among other problems, thinning the waist has become the target of all those who seek a healthy life. And this challenge presents itself with full force to Brazil. Over the past 35 years, the number of men over 20 years of age who are overweight has increased from 18.5 to 50%, and that of women has grown from 28.7 to 48%.

If nothing is done, in less than ten years we will achieve the same obesity statistics as United States, one of the first placed in the world ranking of the problem, but it is possible to reverse this frame. Exercising 150 minutes a week, sleeping well and even taking the dog for a walk are small steps towards the big victory against overweight syndrome in the country.
