Portuguese language activity for the first year of high school on linguistic variation. The idea is to read an excerpt of the song Zazulejo by Teatro Mágico in a colloquial language and turn it into a cultured norm. It's a very interesting exercise, it can be done in other series as well. Enjoy it, teacher!

NAME:
Zaluzejo
Oh I have faith in God… right?
Everything I ask he listened to me… right?
Then when I have some poverty I say:
My God! help me that I have this problem!
Then I ask God a lot… then I close my eyes… right?
I God heard me when I asked him, right?
I wish to go away to Recife one day
I'm not going because I'm afraid of planes, of toast… of toast
then I'm afraid, right?
Everything goes well… God willing… God willing…”
