Some people remember every morning what they dreamed of during the night, others think they never dream because they have no memory of what they saw. Some researches claim that this happens due to the attention that each one gives to dreams in the morning.
People who run out of bed and turn on the television or the phone usually don't remember anything. On the other hand, whoever wakes up calmly and makes an effort to remember dreams, most of the time, succeeds.
However, there are specific lesions in the brain – due to accidents or illnesses – that eliminate dreams altogether. In these cases, people continue to sleep but stop dreaming. Thankfully this is a very rare problem!
