Black pepper

Brazil is one of its biggest producers. The three most recommended varieties are Singapore, Bragantina and Guajarina. Black pepper is normally propagated by cuttings. This vine has ears, which are harvested when the fruits are light green and the seed is hardened. Subsequently, they are threshed manually (or mechanically), and the grains are put to dry in the sun (or in dryers). In addition to its use in cooking, black pepper has application in homeopathy (in cases of inflammation eyes, eczema, ulcers, headaches, kidney problems, tonsillitis and palpitations) and as an insecticide Natural.
