Fox hare cub watched the field, upset that it was Mom's birthday, and he hadn't found a present for her. He wanted to give something red, but a poppy flower withered too fast, just as a green grass was not an interesting gift for his mother.
– I'll give you something yellow! – Fox said to himself. – Ah, a sunflower! But oh! It's heavy for a puppy to carry!
Suddenly, the sky darkened, and a downpour fell across the field…
