This disease has scared people a lot and is also transmitted by Aedes aegypti. His appearance in Brazil is also related to the sight of tourists in 2014. The symptoms are also very similar to those with dengue or chikungunya: rash on the skin, headache, pain in the body and joints, redness in the eyes, nausea. Many researches are underway because Zika fever, when it affects pregnant women, can be related to severe cases, neurological complications and other symptoms such as microcephaly (which is when the child's brain does not grow normally in the mother's belly). The concern is great because some pregnant women who were infected with the virus in the first months of pregnancy have given birth to children who have these symptoms.
