After the king's death, his wife takes over the kingdom. Extremely vain, she starts charging more and more taxes to sustain a life of opulence. At the same time, he keeps his stepdaughter, Snow White, imprisoned in his room. Upon turning 18, Snow White decides to leave the castle and discover the reality of the kingdom. Horrified by the situation of hunger and misery of the people, she returns determined to overthrow the queen.
