NAME:
My name is Esmeralda.
Before I was born, I was like that, an egg!
After a while, I broke the shell and get out of the inside and now I'm a little paw.
Oh, I saw that I had many duckling brothers. And they all like sunbathing in the morning. Me either.
So I get really thirsty. But I'm clumsy and I often fall into the bowl when drinking water.
Ducks like to cool off by swimming in the lake. It's a really fun adventure.
Once, a goose ran after me. I think geese don't like ducklings like me.
Adult ducks eat corn. But I'm small, so I eat cornmeal bran with water so I don't choke.
Late in the afternoon, mother duck is pleased to see her puppies line up behind her, heading home.
