“A Christmas Carol” (A Christmas Carol) was written by Charles Dickens in 1843 in an attempt to cover some of his debts. The “little Christmas book”, nickname given by the author, ended up becoming one of the greatest Christmas classics of all time. In the first days, more than 6 thousand copies were sold.
