Jasmim the sheep liked to grow flowers, so she made a beautiful garden at the back of the farm's barn. Every day, the sheep watered and even talked to the flowers, so that they became more beautiful.
– Your garden is getting more beautiful every day, Jasmine. Congratulations! - said the cow Lili.
– You are quite delicate. Your flowers must be very grateful – added Marta the pig.
- I take care of each one of them as if they were my puppies. When they all bloom, I'll decorate the barn with them - said Jasmine.
Weeks later, all the flowers were in bloom and they were so beautiful that Jasmine felt sorry to pick them. The sheep thought that if they left them there, they would last forever. And so she did.
The cow explained to Jasmine that, probably, as soon as spring ended, the flowers would die and make room for others to be born, but Jasmine didn't believe it and stayed by the garden all the time.
When spring ended, exactly what the cow had said happened, and then Jasmine understood the nature of flowers.
