Olympic champion at the Tokyo Games, Brazilian Isaquias Queiroz qualified this Friday (5th) for another final at the Canoeing World Championship, in Halifax (Canada). The Bahian won the semi of the C1 1000 meters category, in 4min09s37, and ensured his presence in the medal decision on Sunday (7), at 11:24 am (Brasília time). Before, on Saturday (6), the canoeist seeks the podium in the individual decision, category C1 500m, for which he already qualified last Wednesday (3).
Also fighting for a medal in the competition will be Erlon Silva and Filipe Vieira, who won the C2 1000m semi today, with a time of 3min55s. Erlon and Filipe will go in search of the podium on Sunday (7), at 12:21 pm.
