Thrush Dudu loved to sing, but his voice was very fine and he thought that something was missing for his songs to be beautiful.
“You need a second voice, Dudu,” the ladybug Sabina said.
- Second voice? Dudu asked.
– The second voice is other than yours, and it is important to balance the sound of your song. You need a partner, Dudu – explained the ladybug.
The thrush then opened a contest to find a new partner, and many birds signed up.
In the end, none of the birds had the right voice to pair with Dudu, and suddenly Lyco the crow arrived to take the test for the contest.
- You? But crows don't sing, they just make a boring noise - said the thrush.
– At least let Lico do the test, Dudu – suggested Sabina.
When the crow opened its beak, the thrush's jaw dropped. Lyco's voice was ideal. The thrush apologized to the crow for having disdained him, and together they formed a very successful duo.
