Have you ever stopped to think about how much your backpack weighs? So, take the opportunity and stop at a pharmacy on the way to weigh it. The school supplies that everyone has to take to school on a daily basis often exceeds five kilos.
It may be little for an adult, but certainly more than many children could carry without compromising their spine.
Now imagine all that weight placed on your back. Bad, right? Not to mention that you probably carry the entire weight of your backpack on one shoulder, which can be more harmful. The best way to carry the backpack is well supported on the back and fastened on both shoulders, by the straps.
