Lagoa dos Ingleses is an artificial lake, located in the municipality of Nova Lima, Minas Gerais. Created in 1932 with the objective of being a dam to store rainwater, which would later be used to generate electricity for the Morro Velho Mine. The predominant vegetation in the region is field, with small patches of cerrado. The fauna consists of small mammals and birds. Due to its natural beauty, the region has become one of the preferred areas for nautical sports and other types of events.
