For fear of monsters, Lily couldn't sleep alone in her room. His mother then presented him with a plush seahorse named Acalanto. At night, when Lily was startled by the shadow of the seaweed or the hiss of the sea current, he would hug Acalanto and manage to fall asleep.
One day, Lily did not find Acalanto. He looked in the closet, in the toy chest, under the bed, even in the bathroom and nothing. How would he sleep that night?
Incredibly, Lily managed to sleep. Calanto had helped him realize that monsters didn't exist. The octopus understood that his imagination transformed things around him. So Lily imagined corals and starfish, and fell peacefully asleep. He dreamed that Acalanto came to life and took him to magical places.
The next day, Lily found her friend under the bed and couldn't explain the magical disappearance and appearance, but she understood the message and no longer needed lullabies to sleep.
