The tick is a parasite that feeds on the blood of other animals, such as dogs. It is a tiny being, which is between 1.25 millimeters and 1.2 centimeters in diameter. The tick lives on the ground, always looking for a host. When found, walk around the pet's body until you find a place where it can't be pulled out easily. Afterwards, it places the suction device on the dog's skin and feeds on the animal's blood. The tick can stick to the skin for hours, until it finishes feeding.
