“Curiosity of the day”

On September 12, 1911, the Municipal Theater of São Paulo was inaugurated, after 9 years of works. In fact, the party was scheduled for September 11th, but had to be postponed, as the set for the opera Hamlet, by Thomas Ambroise, arrived late in Brazil. From then on, the Theater began to receive the great opera and theater companies from Europe, which passed through Brazil on their Latin American tours.
