Coconut milk is extracted from freshly grated and pressed coconut pulp. It is considered a very healthy food for not having cholesterol, in addition to being rich in iron, carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, minerals and vitamins. Coconut milk has, for example, more selenium, folic acid and vitamin E than cream and some fruits such as acerola, passion fruit, soursop and pineapple. Thanks to its antioxidant, mineralizing and energy properties, it helps fight arteriosclerosis and the formation of free radicals, preventing cell aging.
In addition to the nutritional advantages, coconut milk is a cheap product, easy to find and able to make all everyday recipes much more daring and tasty!
