Near the North Pole lived two penguins who, despite never having spoken to each other, considered themselves enemies. Whenever they passed each other, they exchanged hateful glances. Naturally, they misunderstood everything, and when one walked straight and with his belly drawn in, the other thought he was a petulant. And so on.
One day, they both went to a masked ball in the colony where they lived. As the two were masked, they didn't recognize each other and started a lively conversation.
"It's a great party!" It is seen that people are very fond of the masquerade. commented one of them.
- And truth! We should have a few of these balls a year. replied the other.
After a few hours, they were already inseparable friends. Only at the end of the ball, when they removed their masks, did they discover, astonished, their respective identities.
After a moment's hesitation, they burst out laughing. They were very amused by the memories of their former enmity, especially those furious looks they threw. It was necessary for them to meet masked to finally get to know each other.
