The game of blind man's buff had become a craze among the students. Everyone wanted to play during recess.
Because once when they were playing, the little beaver, who had his eyes blindfolded, had the misfortune of touching the hedgehog and took some terrible bites from its thorns. A lot of blood flowed from the little beaver's paw and the hedgehog felt very guilty.
"You can see I can't join in the fun!" he said, very annoyed.
His colleagues could not console him and he stayed out. The game continued. Now it was the crocodile's turn to be blindfolded and he, clumsy as always, stepped on a piece of glass, which cut his left paw. What was worse was that there were still numerous shards of glass embedded in his paw.
As much as everyone looked for tweezers to try to pull them out, they couldn't find it. It was then that the hedgehog, in a moment of inspiration, plucked two thorns and made a great tweezers out of them.
Then, the crocodile suggested that they play something else, because he insisted that his “doctor” also participate. Everyone agreed to come up with a game that the hedgehog could play too. Well he deserved it!
