First of all we are going to prepare the topping, therefore, in a saucepan, mix the egg whites and sugar, then place over low heat and stir well for about 3 minutes. It's important to always take the pan off the heat for a few moments every minute, stirring so you don't cook. Soon after, transfer the contents to a mixer and beat until doubled in volume. Then add the cream of milk and book.
Second, let's prepare the cream. In another pan, bring the yolks, condensed milk, liquid milk and cornstarch to a low heat, stir until thickened. Right after thickening, let it cool and book.
Finally, let's get to the assembly! Take another pan and mix the vermouth with the water and bring to a boil. Then moisten half of the cookies with this mixture and place them in a round or rectangular refractory.
