Sound Architect

Antônio Carlos Brasileiro Jobim was born in Rio, on January 25, 1927. She began studying piano in her teens. I spent hours bent over the ivory keys. Soon she would start playing in clubs, composing. He even studied architecture. Less than a year later, he dropped out of the course, convinced that his path was different.

With the same accuracy with which he intended to build buildings and houses, the quasi-architect built his work. A precision that would make Edu Lobo declare, years later: “Of all the music architects I know, Tom Jobim is, without a doubt, the one with the broadest and most perfect trait.
