A lion got mad at a mosquito that kept buzzing around his head, but the mosquito didn't care.
“Do you think I'm going to be scared of you just because you think you're king? he said haughtily, and then he flew to the lion and gave a stinging sting to its snout.
Outraged, the lion kicked the mosquito, but the only thing he managed to do was scratch himself with his own claws. The mosquito continued to bite the lion, who started roaring like crazy. In the end, exhausted, enraged and covered in wounds inflicted by its own teeth and claws, the lion surrendered.
The mosquito buzzed away to tell everyone he had beaten the lion, but he walked right into a spider's web. There the conqueror of the king of beasts met his sad end, eaten by a tiny spider.
Moral: often the least of our enemies is the most fearsome.
