1. Expecting your partner to read your mind

Many people expect their partner to magically know their thoughts and desires, as if the other has the power to read their minds. As this is not possible, they end up frustrated and questioning why the partner did not meet a certain expectation.

This behavior only reveals that the couple's communication is not good, and this should be a priority.

Ideally, if you're feeling sad, for example, instead of trying to make the other person imagine it, you talk openly about it, making your feelings clear.

2. Take out some emotions on your partner

Another toxic trait within a relationship is when you end up taking out negative emotions from a bad day on your partner and, for example, treating the other with harshness.

Try to think about what happened and talk openly about how you're feeling, so he or she can have a chance to act with empathy.
