No! The snail and the slug are similar animals and belong to the mollusc group, but one does not give rise to the other. The main difference between them is that the snail has a shell, while the slug has a very small shell or does not have this type of accessory. In this story the snail also appears. Normally, we call the animal that lives on land a snail and what is aquatic as a snail – but both words can be used for the same living being depending on the region of Brazil.

Question 1 - Identify the sentence whose verb is transitive:
