Gone are the days when the diagnosis of cancer was interpreted as a death sentence. Fortunately, modern oncology offers many possibilities for curative treatment, not just for early cases, but even for advanced diseases.
Even in the face of a widespread, incurable tumor, we have resources to fight symptoms, alleviate treatment side effects and prolong life. Sometimes for several years.
The fact that there are advanced resources to fight cancer does not exempt us from either donating measures to prevent the onset of the disease, nor from paying attention to early diagnosis.
Nobody is free from the risk of getting cancer, because it is not possible to avoid all risk factors (such as genetic predisposition, for example). However, many of the factors involved in the onset of this disease, such as physical inactivity and smoking, can be banned from our lives for the sake of our health.
