In a ceremony held at the Planalto Palace, President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva announced the return of the program, which aims to combat poverty and inequality in the country. He distributes income to needy families. Some news came with this return.
One of them consists of entering additional two and a new fixed value.
Starting this year, Bolsa Família beneficiaries will receive a fixed monthly amount of R$600. In addition, depending on the constitution of the family, this amount may be increased.
Currently, there are two types of them, which are called additional.
To receive R$ 150 in the program, the family must have a child between 0 and 6 years old. It is important to point out that there is no Limits for the number of recipients. That is, if a group has several young people who meet the requirement, they will receive R$ 150 for each one of them.
Families with children aged between 7 and 18 years old, the additional amount is BRL 50. As in the first case, there are no limits on recipients.
With the changes, the program continues on the premise of distributing income according to the size of families. The current government believes that this may be the best way to benefit families in financial and social vulnerability.
