NOUNS ARE THE WORDS THAT GIVE NAME TO BEINGS, FEELINGS, PLACES, QUALITIES, ETC. NOUNS ARE CLASSIFIED AS FOLLOWS:

  • OWN NOUN: NAMES A SPECIFIC BEING AND IS WRITTEN WITH THE FIRST CAPITAL LETTER. EG: CAMILA;
  • COMMON NOUN: GIVES NAME TO BEINGS OF THE SAME SPECIES. EG: DOG, BOY, TREE;
  • SIMPLE NOUN: IS FORMED BY JUST ONE WORD. EX.: HOME.
  • COMPOUND NOUN: IS FORMED BY MORE THAN ONE WORD. EX.: WARDROBE, SUNFLOWER;
  • PRIMITIVE NOUN: IS FORMED BY A WORD THAT DOESN'T DERIVE FROM ANOTHER. EX.: HOME;
  • DERIVATIVE NOUN: IT IS FORMED BY A WORD THAT ORIGINS IN ANOTHER... EX.: HOUSE.
