In a speech, the young digital influencer joked about the invitation to go to Harvard. “I taught a class at Harvard, which is really funny because I dropped out of college after just two weeks,” he said.
Mr. Beats was a student at East Carolina University before deciding to drop out and create a YouTube channel. In fact, last year he signed a partnership with his former university to teach young people about digital entrepreneurship, an area he dominates.
In his class at Harvard, Jimmy Donaldson also spoke about his success on the internet. The institution is investing heavily in courses and training focused on the digital world and the new economy.
A curious fact about Mr. Beasts for Harvard was that several students found similarities between the clothes he was wearing and the signature clothes of Steve Jobs, the late founder of Apple.
Commenting on the impressions, the YouTuber said that he didn't dress like that on purpose. "I didn't dress like Steve Jobs on purpose, these were my only jeans available so I decided to wear them with a crew neck shirt," he said.
