WhatsApp today has more than 2 billion monthly active users on the platform. Due to its popularity its developers need to be constantly making sure that everything is working well and safe.
In addition, to attract new people the application will become even more necessary and functional in everyday life. For this, the company does not stop developing new functions such as the latest “WhatsApp Pay” and the audio acceleration feature.
In order to test these new utilities, WhatsApp Beta serves, for example, as a “test dummy” for new ideas. Through them we have new functions that may become in fact released for all its users.
Some time ago, along with animated gifs, WhatsApp released Stickers (Sticker), which were a great novelty and everyone still uses them today. However, to create these stickers it was necessary to download them from other applications. To solve this problem, the company is developing its own editor. Already within the WhatsApp application, however – it seems – will only be available for the desktop version initially.
Another function that is under development is cashback on WhatsApp Pay. The Pay system within the application has received a lot of attention from the company so that it is common for its users, after all other applications offer this functionality. So, to move and grow the use of your payment method, WhatsApp is implementing cashback on purchases.
This update allows the user to have multiple computers using their account through WhatsApp Web and without necessarily having their cell phone connected.
They are developing something similar for cell phones where anyone who has more than one device can have the same account on both.
