Tati the girl

Seeing that it was really impossible, Tati gave up on catching the sunbeam lying on the ground. The fingers hurt the earth uselessly: the reflection had no thickness.

Her whim now was with water. She wanted to see if she could get even a little bit out of the tank, but the liquid suspended in her hands had seen something different that soon melts away, shimmering between her little fingers. And on the surface of the tank there was not the slightest scar!

It is the first time that Tati has been playing in the water with the intention of grabbing it, of feeling its mystery. She is so engrossed that the pleas, “Come on, Tati! Drop it, girl!”, who come from the window, are not even heard.

Soon after, it starts to wind. But with the wind it was different: Tati already knew that he never lets himself be caught or seen, although she lives everywhere giving demonstrations of her presence. That wind!…

Before going upstairs, she splashes water on herself, hastily splashing herself on her face and dress.

When night comes, Manuela throws herself on her bed, without answering some of the questions her daughter asks her, who is always intrigued by the water. Under the covers, Tati is still babbling the last orders: a stroller and a duckling just like the one she saw in another child's hands.

– This boy had a duck, don't you know, Mom? I ate every candy that only you could see!… The paper was a beauty! Here, I think everyone eats a lot of candy, too...

– Sleep, Tati.

- Here is good.

- Sleeps […]
