Even when it was sunny, the little paw Loló didn't feel like playing in the pond. She was discouraged.
– I can't hatch my little eggs! I will never have my puppies – she cried in a corner.
– Of course you will! – said her friends. - Wait and see.
A few steps away, a paw overheard the conversation but remained silent. She patiently waited for the others to leave and went to Loló.
“Don't cry anymore,” she said, her voice soft. – It took me a while to have my puppies too. I know a hen who can help you, and soon you'll be taking her chicks to the pond too. You can look for her and if you want to talk, come see me.
The next day, Loló woke up very early and, with her little bundle on her back, felt shyly towards a distant place. When she got there, she entered the chicken coop, where a hen with bespectacles listened attentively to her going up and, in a considerate manner, received her:
– Don't worry, I have the solution! I will hatch your beautiful eggs. I do this and sometimes when the paws are worried.
Loló returned home full of hope and then entrusted her eight eggs to the hen with glasses, who hatched them zealously for 28 days. One fine day, eight beaks broke the shells! Soon, duck Loló will be able to take her dear puppies to play in the pond.
