The National Examination for Certification of Youth and Adult Skills (Encceja) 2023 is open for registration. Interested parties have until June 2 to register through the Encceja System. Encceja is aimed at young people and adults who have not completed their studies at the appropriate age for each stage of education. Participation is voluntary and free of charge for those who did not miss the last edition. You must be at least 15 years old for elementary school and 18 years old for high school on the date of the exam.
During registration, participants must indicate the Federation unit, the municipality, the desired level of education (elementary or secondary) and the areas of knowledge that they wish to be evaluated. It is important to point out that the participants who missed the test in all the areas in which they signed up for Encceja 2022, and did not justified the absence or had the justification request rejected, they must reimburse the amount of BRL 40 to take the Encceja 2023.
In Encceja 2023, payment of the fee can be made through a bank slip, generated during the registration process and accepted at any bank or lottery house. All rules and detailed information are available in the Edict of Encceja 2023.
In addition, this year, the exam presents some novelties, aiming at improvements in accessibility and assistance to participants. Now, there is the inclusion of the expanded Response Card option for people with visual impairments. There will also be a differentiated correction of the wording for those who have spectrum disorder autistic.
Another facility is that reports approved in 2022 for the same type of service requested in 2023 do not need to be resubmitted for further analysis. In addition, transvestite, transsexual or transgender participants who have a social name registered with the Federal Revenue will not need to send supporting documentation.
To access important information about participation in Encceja, candidates must use the single login to access the gov.br platform. In case you forgot the password of the registered account, it is possible to verify and recover it. The password is required to check the test location, application times and other information on the Registration Confirmation Card.
Encceja, the National Examination for the Certification of Youth and Adult Skills, has been held since 2002 and aims to assess the competences, skills and knowledge of young people and adults who did not finish primary or secondary education at the appropriate age.
The application of the exam is the responsibility of Inep, in collaboration with the state and municipal secretariats of Education. The issuance of the certificate and declaration of proficiency is the responsibility of the Departments of Education and the federal institutes of education, science and technology that sign the Term of Adhesion to Encceja.
