Some sentences spread without us knowing who the real author is. This is the case of While the right man doesn't come along, I'm having fun with the wrong ones, which I heard for the first time on a Marília Gabriela program or did I read it on a t-shirt? That the phrase is witty, there is no question, but it is a trap: believing that there is the right person is the reason for our relationship problems. Why do we insist on believing in legends?
(Adapted from http://revistadonna.clicrbs.com.br/coluna/martha-medeiros-pessoa-certa/)
