There are some dog breeds considered perfect for people…
Bizarre, isn't it? According to the manufacturer, the baby will remain calm and comfortable, while you can carry on with your routine activities without worries.
Who presented this label above, which we just described, was the Canadian comedian, Brad Gosse, who posted a photo on his Instagram.
But the backlash was unsurprising: many people were horrified by the idea and questioned the use of products like Baby Mute.
And here comes the plot twist…
After all the bizarre things we've seen happen on the internet, this is without a doubt one of the craziest. It all started when Gosse, a real joker, decided to play a trick on everyone.
He orchestrated a “contraption” that seemed to be super innovative and made everyone believe it was real! Gosse was so convincing that he even posted a screenshot of the brand's website and captioned the image with "Innovation of your best product".
And believe it or not, it has already received more than 11,400 likes and 420 comments! But the story doesn't end there, as Gosse even spruced up the product in a new Instagram post and added a link back to the website.
The site has since been deleted, but when it was active it appeared to be completely legitimate, according to users of a popular internet forum.
According to one of the mothers who would like to try the product, now would be the chance to finally be able to listen to music or podcasts without being interrupted by her little one's cries.
Some people even reported the comedian's post on Facebook Marketplace, still stating that they were sold out everywhere!
Despite this, some people were concerned and expressed themselves on social media. There were those who thought this could be considered child abuse.
After causing quite a stir on social media, Gosse confessed that she created a product simply for fun.
He even shared some images from related Google searches to show how much fun he had on the internet.
People have even gone so far as to research “Is the mute baby real?” and “Is the mute baby a real product?”.
Everyone was a little confused and worried at the same time, but in the end, they were relieved to find out that it was all a joke.
