One night there was a fire in a bazaar. And in the all-out fire, their toys disappeared. We children knew those toys one by one, from looking at them so often in the displays – some, hanging from long strings; others, just interviews in their boxes.
The fire, however, took it all away. The bazaar became a famous ash shed.
Fortunately, no one had died – they said around. How had no one died? – thought the children. A world had died, and, within it, the loving eyes of children, left there.
