This happened on a hot, dry summer day when a crow had barely finished its meal of rotting remains. He felt very, very thirsty. It was a really bad summer with not a drop of water in sight. The crow searched everywhere, but failed to find water. He flew away into the wilderness and suddenly his eye was caught by a jar near a tree. The crow was sure this one had water. When he searched, he found that there was very little water and that it was also at the bottom of the jar. The crow couldn't manage to drink it. He started to think deeply. I already know!!! He had an idea. He saw many stones lying around. He picked up one stone after another and began tossing them into the jar. It took him a long time to do this, and after many attempts, he was thrilled to see the water level rising. He continued his hard work. Gradually, the water level rose. Although he was dead tired, the crow was happy to see the result of his hard work.
