NAME:

the terence bee

Terência was a very different little bee, she always flew singing and smiling. She loved one flower in particular: the beautiful daisy, of all flowers, was her favorite. But one day, Terentia went early to see the daisy in the field and saw a great rain coming on. Terentia returned to the hive flying with speed, because it could be a tremendous storm. Really was! Lightning and thunder all day long! Then, the next day, the sun came out. What a joy!

Terentia flew into the field to see the daisy again, and the beautiful flower had sadly fallen to the ground. It was the time when flowers began to bloom. And the other little bees didn't understand Terentia. They preferred different flowers, like the lily and the rose, to make the honey a very tasty substance. Terentia was downcast. For a long time, she waited for the sadness to pass as the wind does. It was difficult, but country life had to go on. And Terencia found new friends to talk to.
