In the book, the forms of communication are explored in a playful way. The narrative takes place in an imaginary realm, where words are kept in chests and are worth a fortune. But when the chests are opened, a new world of meaning is revealed to the characters.
In this work, readers are invited to explore the meaning of words, with sensitivity and humor. In this magical world, everything is possible and palpable, and the illustrations reveal this plasticity, as they materialize the meanings attributed to each word released from the trunk. The work also deals with the friendship relationship between an old man and a boy. It will certainly stay in the memory of readers, and everyone will keep the word “saudade” in the drawer of their hearts.
