Gaspar is an old fisherman who lives in Vila das Ostras, he works every day, with Luis, Osmar and Pascoal, in his “morning star” boat.
When Gaspar and his companions go fishing, the sky is still dark and starry, they are so used to the sea that they already know the place where they can find many fish.
They throw the net and when they collect, Gaspar is amazed to see the amount of fish jumping.
One day, the morning star was already at sea when it started to drizzle. Gaspar was frightened, for he knew the risks he would run if a storm hit.
He and his companions, in an instant, decided to return, cut through the foam from the waves and landed on the pier.
Gaspar got off the boat and breathed a sigh of relief, everyone went back home and watched the rain fall into the sea.
