This bird's nest is practically a house: it is shaped like an oven and made of clay. No other species does anything like it. Erected by the male and the female together, the nest of the clay shark provides security for the animal's eggs and offspring. As it is built in a spiral shape, its entrance does not lead directly to the inner chamber, where the eggs or chicks are. Before, it is necessary to go through a curved corrector. Thus, eggs and offspring are protected from the wind, rain… Because it is so ingenious, the nest of a clay lion is often disputed by other birds. Even more so because the species builds a new nest every breeding season. The common earth canary and the brown swallow usually occupy nests of the common sable that they find empty and, at times, even expel their owners to stay with their house. It's easy?
