NAME:

Cristina's lie, the little butterfly

Cristina, a little yellow butterfly, was always getting into trouble. She lived with her mother in a beautiful wood, close to a large forest. On Christmas Eve, Amelia asked her daughter:
– Cristina! Please go to the natural flowerbed at the entrance to the forest to get some flower petals to decorate the table. But be careful! Don't go into the forest, it's forbidden, and you know how dangerous it is.

The little butterfly flew away, happy. On the way, she met Juquinha, a very nice squirrel and her best friend. She invites you to go pick some flower petals in the forest.
- In the forest? But this is dangerous, and her mother would never let it. I doubt it! - Said the squirrel.
- But it's true. Come with me and I'll show you - Cristina replied with an air of superiority.
The two followed, playing along the way. Arriving at the entrance to the forest, Cristina gathered courage and entered. Suddenly, she heard a noise. It was Oscar, a hummingbird, who offered to help. Cristina followed the hummingbird, who guided her far into the forest, and then disappeared. The butterfly was alone and helpless! After some time, the hummingbird appeared again. He flew by quickly, and Cristina managed to go flying after him… Until she found her mother! Cristina asked where they were.
– At the entrance to the forest, Cristina. Hummingbird Oscar brought you back because he's my friend and he saw what you were doing, contrary to recommendations. He decided to do that so you can learn to listen to your mother!
– Cristina, the forest is dangerous, and you are always getting into trouble, as I knew. Do not do that again! Always obey your mother, who has experience in life and knows what she says – warned Oscar.
Embarrassed, the butterfly apologized and promised never to disobey again.
