Understand where the vision different from yours comes from. Ask yourself: why does that person think that way? By knowing what's behind your motivations, you'll be able to argue better.
Don't try to “convert” anyone. It is possible that your interlocutor has an opinion as strong as yours. The intention should not be to convince him that he is wrong, but only to help him broaden his worldview.
Look for specific stories. If you want to explain the importance of feminism, for example, tell the story of someone who was a victim of machismo. In this way, you help to generate the feeling of empathy.
