Yet another complaint from Android apps that collect data was done through an AppCensus study. According to the information, these apps acted discreetly and did not even raise suspicions from the owners of the devices. Furthermore, the only link between them would be a software development kit from a Panamanian company.

The Kit in question would be supplied by a provider company called Measurement Systems, whose supposed headquarters would be in Panama. Through the analysis it was possible to notice that the SDK was used during the development of the applications. In exchange for providing the kit, developers would get a monetization fee that would not compromise privacy or battery life for the download.
However, the permission acted precisely in the opposite direction of what it promised, and served as a kind of door for the theft of information. In this way, the Coulus Coelib library from the kit was installed through the applications to then extract the data. Soon after, everything collected would go to third-party servers. Among the contents were emails, phone, address, IP, as well as network SSID number, and also MAC address of routers.
There is a more urgent alert regarding the theft in question, as there would also be a collection of what was in the user's Clipboard. That is, when someone copied some information, the text in its entirety, the text in its entirety would be stolen.
Among the applications suspected of fraud are the Speed Camera Radar, O QR & Barcode Scanner and the WiFi Mouse. Furthermore, there was also an alert regarding specific tools for the Muslim population, including the version in Quran MP3.
As a palliative and preventive measure, the Google Play Store already removed all apps from download availability at the end of last year. However, there is already a record that most of the apps are back on the platform, so attention is needed.
