The Covid-19 pandemic has changed reality around the world. Many people, who used to go to the office for their work, started to work from home. This is what happened to this woman, whose name has not been revealed, whose situation created an imbroglio between her and her husband.
The story was published on a Reddit social network forum. According to the publication, the woman started to do home office in a house she bought with her husband. In the text, she says her husband says the property is his, but also makes it clear that she doesn't care.

The house has two bedrooms. As it's just the two of them, she decided to turn the empty room into an office for her. And that's where the problems started.
Everything went smoothly for a while, the woman said on Reddit, until her husband said they needed to talk. He said he would "expect" about 30% of his wife's salary.
According to the man, the value is relative to the use of the home office. The woman was obviously confused and quite shocked by what her husband was saying.
The woman said he even tried to explain. The husband said that it was “his house” and that her home office is “on his property”.
“I said I wouldn't give my salary and told him he wasn't being reasonable. It caused a riot,” she narrated. “I screamed that he wouldn't have a penny. He had a fit and called me a freeloader, even though we don't have to pay any more installments on the house."
In time, the woman added that she is the one who makes the housework. Also, all household bills are divided equally.
After the discussion, the woman said that her husband involved the whole family in the story. Her mother-in-law, the man's mother, said she was being "difficult".
“She said that 30% is not much of a salary and that the room provides 'stability' for my work. Therefore, my husband should have some benefit from it,” she narrated.
It was a consensus among Reddit users that the woman's husband was being toxic and acting without any parsimony.
“You two should be partners, who support each other,” wrote one. "Your husband is being unreasonable and is clearly saying that the house they live in is not his," added another.
“You are his wife, not a tenant. There's something very controlling about it, it even gives me goosebumps. What would he need this money for?” asked a third.
