One of the largest technology companies in the world world, Google recently announced the integration of artificial intelligence into its search engine. The idea is to improve the responses offered by the tool using data from an AI program called Bard, whose proposal is similar to ChatGPT.

Last Wednesday, Prabhakar Raghavan, vice president of Google, confirmed the arrival of AI in search engines. It is about a chatbot, which will be called Bard and will be a direct competitor of ChatGPT.
Microsoft recently closed a deal with OpenAI. They plan to implement ChatGPT in their search engine, Bing, to improve the results obtained.
Google explains that the addition of a technology of this type in the search systems will bring additional answers, in addition to the traditional ones. AI serves as a tool to improve responses, offering more direct and organized searches, thus turning out to be a more user-friendly mechanism.
The tool also comes to improve visual searches, as is the case with the Google Lens application. It allows the user to do a survey with a video or image, obtaining personalized and more accurate answers. You can, for example, find out where a photo was taken just by using the search tool. It is also possible to find out who a person is in a photo, if he is in your contacts or if he is famous.
Google employees hope that the options for search become quite diverse with the implementation of the feature. In the future, it will be possible to combine text searches with images or videos, generating a more accurate and refined result. Furthermore, they say the possibilities will be endless, as very little of the AI has been explored to date.
